The Wire- amazing!
This show is, in my opinion, one of the best works of fiction in any medium. And I use the word fiction loosely, as this show is based largely on real events or at least inspired by experiences the two main writers had in the their years as a reporter for the Baltimore Sun and a homicide detective in Baltimore, respectively. All the seasons of this show start off slow as they "lay pipe" or "plant seeds" that will grow and build and eventually pay off in the last few episodes of each season and the series as a whole. Certain plot threads or character arcs aren't concluded until the very last episode, as should be the case with any good long-running series. Without going on and on about it, I'll just say that if you have good taste- buy this dvd set. Or rent the first season and see if you like it. But you will probably become hooked and end up buying the whole set like I did. Amazing show.

One of the best horror movies ever.
Easily one of the best horror movies ever as far I'm concerned. Not gory or gratuitous but very scary nonetheless. Watch The Conjuring 1 and 2 if you liked this movie. Or even if you didn't.
