Redragon M908 Wired RGB LED Laser Gaming Mouse 12400DPI 18 Button for PC MMO

Nicely customizable with a few nitpicks.

First of all, it is a fairly large mouse and happens to fit my hand perfectly. It comes in a translucent black polypropylene box with an instruction leaflet, and a box with a set of weights that help fine-tune the feel of the mouse. The most distinguishing feature - the keypad, could use some improvements in tactile feedback as it uses metal membrane keys that are a tad too shallow for my taste. M1 and M2 use Huano Blue microswitches which aren't my favorite but I plan on replacing them. The software offers a fair amount of configuration and is downloadable from the official site. Five profiles are available and can only be cycled forward. All keys on the mouse can be remapped, including the scrolling action. Such abundance of keys allows you to have the entire keyboard on your mouse along with a numpad, which is convenient, but the forward-only cycle is rather limiting. The config software open without the mouse plugged in so one can have a look at the range of options before deciding on a purchase. Lighting configuration offers seven colours, three brightness levels and eight functions. The DPI range is a substantial 200-12400 with increments of 100 and can be assigned five presets per profile which can be cycled up or down if keys are assigned for this purpose. Macros can be recorded and accept a maximal length of 99999ms per individual action. If the manufacturer could issue a small update for the software that adds the option to switch to specific profiles I'll happily upgrade this to 5/5.

Good for the price and does the job.

The version I received is a newer one that does not fully match the listing photos (only the front panel - see attachments). The new feature is a store/call function that keeps temperature-airflow presets but I have yet to figure it out as the instruction booklet is in Chinese. The unit comes with a removable (apparently only UK) mains plug. There is a removable 3A fuse. The transformer is a bit small but this is not a high power device. The PCB of the front panel looks alright but is sparsely populated. At the same time there is positive affixation of the gun cable with a zip-tie and hot glue. The cable leading to the gun is ~90cm long. The gun itself is a bit bulky but usable. The noise of the fan in it is definitely acceptable. The station comes with three nozzles of various diameters that are adequate but somewhat difficult to install and swap since they lack a tightening screw. There is a holder for the gun which can be installed on either side of the station with two Philips screws. Upon placing the gun in the holder its heating element shuts off and the fan cools it down to 100 degrees Celsius before shutting off too. Picking up the gun brings the station back from sleep mode. The temperature ranges between 100 and 450 degrees and is set by up/down buttons. The knob controls the fan speed. All in all it's a good device for its price and purpose if you cannot acquire more professional equipment.

Given the cons that's a 4.5/5 from me. Pros: All that's mentioned on the official page of the manufacturer and in various reviews online. It really is a comfortable backpack with excellent compartment variety. Cons: - Lacking adjustment on the upper end of the shoulder straps. - Zippers like to snag on their covering lip so attention is needed when using them, and that's an inconvenience. - Feels a bit on the heavy side when empty. Note: Some reviews claim that the pully bits of the zippers tend to fall apart after enough use. I have yet to experience this but can confirm that they look somewhat flimsy. Regardless, they have an opening big enough for a sturdy replacement cord.
