Hard hitting and eye opening
Still reading this but I'm near the end. I've been reading some of it in bed before going to sleep which, on occasion, has been a bad idea as the content can be disturbing - but necessarily so. One criticism - sometimes he casts sideways aspersions which are unwarranted - eg castigating 'the ham actor and Australian' Mel Gibson for inaccuracies and bias in his film 'The Passion of Christ' - it's a film for goodness sake - ALL films are inaccurate and at best interpretative - and Mel Gibson was born in America. However, his arguments against (and for) religion are well thought out, forcefully expressed and accurate ... but I think I'll need to do some research to verify the accuracy.

Structured Noise
Occasionally something makes you sit up and take notice - the first time I saw the Rolling Stones on the TV, thinking I was probably the only Mothers of Invention fan in the world, sitting through 20 minutes of rubbish on TOTP and suddenly the Stranglers introduce punk to you ... then browsing Youtube and the Yellow Swans open up your mind once more. But they're defunct! A sort of structured noise, had to get the CD and so I did!
