Ideal for one cup at a time.
3 of 3 found this helpful This is the second of these I bought, the first one had a faulty switch and a tendency to switch off several times before it would stay on, it would also be temperamental about whether it wanted to heat the water or not. This one, so far, is fine, it does what is should. Not quite the quality of the original (2008) Morphy Richards ones but I accept that things have changed since then. It heats water quickly, enough for a standard to large sized mug, if you put a little too much water in it will drip out before you switch it on.
One thing to be aware of, with these and the MR ones is that you need to drain it by tipping out any water from time to time and especially if you descale it, as it does retain water in the reservoir which builds up after a few uses. I always tip it out several times during the cleaning process to ensure no chemicals are left behind.
I would be happy to buy another of these based on the performance of the current one I have.
