Surprisingly fast and comfortable
Brought this bike second hand, as away of getting back into road biking and wasn't really expecting a great deal.
Other than a few rattles potentially through use as opposed to build quality, this bike is really surprising,
It light and well spec'd,
Im not sure if the running gear has been changed, but I often find myself leading and pulling away on flats and down hills with little effort.
And as an added bonus my group of cycle friends said I'd struggle on hills with the running gear (Shimano 105) however I find myself again setting the pace.
This is surprising as I'm unfit and overweight and have been out of cycling for at last 9 years.
Throughly recommend you this bike for beginners

Cheap and tearful
Firstly, not the most complex thing in the world but came with no instructions. Brackets missing, and random quantities of washers and nuts left after built based on picture on ebay. The washers...why is there various and random sizes in the pack? that do not even fit any of the bolts provided.
It was literally a pick and mix to best describe it.
The rack itself is cheap material, my hybrid bike tyres do not fit in the channels.
My road bike fits in mind. Neither of which have tyres on as in the picture so unless the have deflated the tyres. Theres just no way the picture is accurate.
id suggest inspecting both kits before assembly as one kit was heavily scratched but id already drilled the first kit to allow U bolts to be fitted, again couldn't use the ones in kits as would fit around my roof bars.
The locking mechanism is temperamental.
It doesnt look great on the car either.
To be honest i hadn't got the money for a Thule kit, this one does the job however constantly waiting for it to fail
I wish I'd gone for an auction Thule kit instead of trying to be and save a few £'s by buying this.
So all in all depends what your after... im looking to upgrade already. Used once this one is poor.
Does it transport your bikes? yes.
Is it the best bit of kit? NO, it definately is a case of cheap and cheerful.
Iv put tearful in the header as the sharp edges caused numerous cuts and grazes during assembly,
And the lack of instructions could make it difficult to build for those who cant build what they see in a photo.
