Grinder. Not really a sharpener.
The grinder is on a plastic base with 4 tiny screw holes close to the edge which are just waiting to be snapped.
The grinding stone is way too course for sharpening it’s more of a metal removing stone that wears very quickly and is very poor quality.
The leather strop side is terrible big old plastic disc with a bit of leather on and it’s lumpy the knife bounces as it has been glued on but very uneven.
It’s quite a noisy machine. And there’s not a lot really going for it I was really hoping for a much better Finnish.
For £260 I wish I had spent on some proper Chinese wet stones and guides and continued to sharpen by hand.
The wet wheel is very disappointing. Along with the polishing wheel. Just very cheap and nasty.
