Logitech MX Vertical Mouse NEW @ SEALED
    28 Oct, 2020
Expensive but worth it. An excellent vertical mouse.
It's expensive at around twice the price of lesser vertical mice - but it's worth paying the extra. It's extremely well designed and it looks a quality product. The silver strip with the 'Logi' name on the top gives it a very professional finish. It's comfortable to hold (and I have quite large hands) and glides effortlessly over the mousemat I use it on. The left/right buttons sit right under my fingers and the centre wheel has just the right amount of soft click as you scroll. If it has a fault it's that the scroll wheel is so light that it's easy to scroll without intending to. I've not used the buttons under the thumb but they are reachable without straining the thumb. I especially like the DPI button on the top, it quickly switches between resolutions. I've not tested the battery for maximum length of charge but I've immediately noticed that I don't have to plug it in every three or four days as I have with other (lesser) rechargeable mice. I last charged it well over a week ago and the charge indicator light isn't on yet. On feature I particularly like is the auto-off feature. The mouse switches off if it's left still for some period of time. Switch on is fully automatic however, no keys to press as I've found on other mice, as soon as you move it the mouse turns on. The little green charge light comes on for a second too just to let you know it's now on. My very long experience has made me wary of Logitech software and since I don't need the thumb buttons, nor to program the other buttons, I've not installed the Logitech software at all. The mouse works fine using the basic Windows mouse driver - though that might be why the scroll wheel feels over-sensitive. Overall it's a great vertical mouse. Comfortable, light to use, precise and it looks good on the desk as well. Yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for.
