does not serve the purpose

I bought this to be used in our utility area where there is not heating, assuming that this may do the trick, but it never did, even after keeping it on for 2 days, still my clothes were wet, and not really sure how much electricity it consumes. For this price you can get a good quality electric heater with timer and safety valve and can use it to dry your clothes.
