Good in-ear anc earphone
Reading reviews on Amazon you would see some people complaining about the effectiveness of the noise cancellation, which almost put me off from getting one. But I still bought it and I would say I’m more than happy with its noise cancellation performance. I also have a qc25. Putting them side by side I would say the Sony in-ear is a bit weaker for low frequency noises, but it performs very well to cancel out conversations around you, and in general it’s more than enough for a tube ride or a walk on a very busy road. Most of the noises are cancelled out so that I never need to turn up the volume to over 50%. It’s good to have the ambient sound mode, but you need to tune it a bit within the app for it to be actually useful. The other features are a bit gimmicky. Overall it’s a very good in-ear anc option for its currently reduced price tag.
