3M safety helmet neck rain shield GR3C
A useful item added to 3M safety helmets, fit multiple helmet types (G3000, X5000 etc) but consult helmet instructions to ensure compatibility, easily fitted, no tools required, rolls up and is tucked into rear of helmet when not in use (and doesn’t drop down until you release it), minimal weight, very tough and useful general dust or light debris protection or just in the rain, saves and stops water, dust etc annoyingly dropping down the back of your neck !.
Cost is high from 3M supplier but can be obtained from eBay sellers or elsewhere.
Recommended.

Usual Makita LXT quality (this ones made in Japan which I prefer).
Usual Makita LXT quality (this ones made in Japan which I prefer), good price and an ideal alternative to a petrol equivalent, the Stihl equivalent is considerably more and means unless you use the Stihl batteries in other Stihl products a bit of an extravagance, with other LXT tools in hand then batteries get circulated and not left on the shelf.
Spares are readily available and don’t cost the earth, batteries are also readily available (I don’t recommend non genuine, that’s a personal choice).
This supplements it’s smaller brother (a 122), power wise its more than up to the job, it’s also safer (I think), but be aware this is not a DIY’er tool, Makita state it’s for ‘trained arborists), like all chainsaws its potentially lethal, a little training will stand a user an advantage in use and safety.
There’s lots of YouTube videos about them which gives a good idea of the performance.
Buy it with confidence use it with care !

CANON 960iS IXUS DIGITAL CAMERA
10 of 10 found this helpful Without doubt, the best compact digital around at present, bought mine of ebay a few weeks ago(UK spec/version), it's user friendly, tough (titanium case !), with results only short of pro digital SLR quality (SLR'S being more flexible in choice of lens etc etc), the zoom is amazing, made even better with the image stabilisation, the LCD screen is crystal clear and the camera fully featured. I'll be carrying mine for "from the hip snaps" when the DSLR is in the bag !. Definately a 10/10 for CANON, i'd be giving it 11/10 if only it made the tea in the morning !!.
