Nikon quality for a fantastic price!
I recently purchased a Nikon N6006 camera. While reading the instructions they mentioned several flash units this being the most recent at that time period. I looked at the SB-22 and SB-23 and decided that this unit would mate well with my camera. The unit is a quality piece of photo equiptment built solid compared to a modern dslr flash units. I purchased this particular unit because of its ttl features and how it should work with the cameras matrix metering system. I haven't processed any film taken with the flash, but i know it has to be an improvement over the units built in flash which i have tried. I've been out of the photography loop for a while but i think with this flash unit in my arsenal i'm well on the way to getting back in the saddle. Because of the wide spread use of digital technology now i find that i am able to purchase quality film equiptment for bargin prices now. This flash has more features than i'll probably ever use. Its manual is comprehensive and can be found on the internet. I do not have any dislikes about this product, got a good solid product at a good price, now all i have to do is put it to use. Compared to the modern digital flash unit that I purchased it is built more solid, has more features and is simple to use.

get in close with the yashica 135 mm prime lense
This is an excellent prime lens, and I found it for a very good price. it has a fast 2.8 aperture with my digital lenses starting at f3.5 - 5.6. It was clean and performs well. I enjoy using film products and technology and grew up with it. It makes photography more demanding especially weddings and once in a life time events, but even with digital it is possible to take bad pictures especially under the pressure of performing at a wedding. I have several film cameras, but enjoy using the yashica cameras and their lenses the most because my first SLR was a yashica FX-3 with a 50mm lens. It was a full manual camera where the photographer had to set the aperture and shutter speed to get good exposures. I also have a yashica 108 program and both cameras uses the exact same system of lenses. These lenses and cameras can be purchased very inexpensively because most customers have moved on to digital. Film photography has it cost, but to get good quality prints out of your home printer will require that you get a good quality inkjet printer. Have you noticed the cost of ink lately. Anyway if you are an old film photography wanting to get that equipment you could never afford now is a good time to get it.

Yaschica 50mm f2.0 is an excellent lense even for modern photographers.
Yashica makes excellent products, and with the transition into digital cameras their film cameras and accessories can be found a very good prices. This particular lens is in very good condition and works well. I purchased it for shooting in low light situations as it has a fast 2.0 aperture. You can expect to pay quite a bit more for the 1.4 aperture lens of the same size. It is what it is. A good reliable piece of photography equipment thus I like everything about it and there is nothing that I dislike about it. I enjoy the advent of the instant image of digital photography but having grown up in the film age, not only taking pictures with film, but processing b/w and color film and prints I am glad that I am finally able to afford the cameras and accessories I could only dream about in the golden age of photography.
