Best Watch I've Ever Owned
1 of 1 found this helpful I was lucky enough to get this watch in an auction for right at $100. It is quite simply the best watch I have ever owned, I have owned many over the years and still do. The Seiko movement is amazingly designed, and it keeps perfect time. It is stylish, yet practical in its look and function as an aviation watch. I am amazed by the "solar" means by which this watch works, and I'm going to look into how it actually works. I am just amazed by this technology, and feel so lucky to have purchased one for such a low price. I have heard that these retail for $515.00 and I can imagine there are people who might pay that price for one, they are such fine watches. I couldn't be happier. If you are a watch lover and want one that basically does it all, this is your watch. I must note that the quality of construction and the movement are absolutely fabulous.

This is a great sling!
This is a great sling! It's exactly the right thickness of leather (I had an original on it before that I had to "retire" and the thickness was identical), the hardware is beautiful and the Waffenamt stamps add a nice piece of authenticity that sets off overall look of the sling. For reenactors I highly recommend this sling for your k98, especially at such a great price!

Getting What You Pay For
While the two flashlights in question arrived pretty quickly, when I could not get the first one to work I attempted to unscrew the lamp section to "fix" it. It summarily popped the retaining spring and ball bearing which allows you to adjust the size of the beam. This could have been avoided if instructions had come with the lamps, but there were none. The batteries took forever to charge, and once I got them partly charged I d u d manage to get the second one to work without blowing it's bearings. They are not 5000 lumens, but on what is the "high" setting they are pretty bright, even though I had to sacrifice the first one to be able to manage the second. So look, if you want a reasonably priced working flashlights that may, or n at not work, I guess ten dollars for two of them isn't bad. However, if you think you're getting a truly tactical grade piece, think again.
