Worked well - recommended for bubble flares in-situ on steel and Kunifer :)
Worked well for making bubble flares in-situ on both Kunifer (Cupro-Nickel) lines and steel - needs careful prep on the pipes and re-tightening of clamps on steel but did the job and saved me £100s versus taking it to a garage to have it done. My only negative is that it is designed to work in one orientation so can be a bit tricky under the car if the lines happen to be the 'other way' around meaning working blind or upside down! Nice, UK made product anyway :)

Overpriced and not adding much value to the system
1 of 1 found this helpful With a recent purchase of a Solis AC battery inverter which has is a bit clunky to set up and no 'out of box' monitoring, I though the data logging stick might be a useful addition - honestly though for what it does and the portal interface and information, in hindsight I need not have bothered. The level of detail may be useful for installers to be able to keep track of their customers' installs but the app is also clunky, some of the data is not even relevant or unclear and the updates are every 5 minutes so it's not even real-time. From what I can gather, the only real benefit of the stick would be for remote firmware updates, but again I feel loathed that Solis don't offer the connectivity built-in to the inverter - ironically it has built in wi-fi that acts as an access point for config (which also doesn't work well with the TechView app). So it's a little unfair to judge this data stick on that basis, but for me at least, it's not a particularly good value add-on but a must *if* you install Solis inverters (and hence pass on the cost to the customer) or if you need a firmware update, which honestly Solis should be able to provide without the customer needing to pay extra for this add-on.

Seems to do the job, topped up a low AC system, just enough to do so
A small can but only intended as a top up if the AC is low on refrigerant so reasonably good value if you already have the gauge and hose to do it.
