    An excellent HDTV
This is a great set, the picture is crisp and the colors are accurate. I like the convenience of 3 HDMI inputs (+component inputs, etc). The only (minor) negatives are that I wish the remote control was illuminated (to be more visible in a darkened room), and I wish that the built-in speakers on the TV were a bit louder. All in all it is a spectacular bargain, an excellent 1080p LCD HDTV at the price of a middling 720p set. I heartily recommend it to anyone who wants a 32" television. -unclecockle

    An Excellent, Classic Minolta Lens
I really like this lens; I received it a few days ago, and have takes some incredible shots with it over the weekend. It is incredibly sharp (if stopped down a bit), and it produces images with wonderful 'Minolta' colors. I took some razor sharp photos of my 6 month old, and several truly crisp photos of my neighbor's garden. I have the Sony Alpha 350 DSLR, and have been using 2 new Sony "kit" lenses (the 18-70mm and the 55-200MM); they are both decent basic lenses, and a good value, but for photo quality, this 20+ year old lens just blows them away. The only caveats are that it requires fairly bright lighting to do its best (as it has to be stopped down to get the sharpness it is capable of), and also that it does not have a very wide zoom range. Still at $40, every Alpha owner definitely should own one.
