It's okay!
It definitely has a strong electric shock power and if you can catch a bug when it's just hanging out on a surface it will absolutely die, but the chances of you effectively getting one in mid air are nigh on impossible — this is more than likely due to the protective grid, which is obviously crucial, but equally it means flies are less likely to just drop out of the sky. Maybe the idea for the product is fundamentally flawed because you couldnt make this product in a way that's both safe and effective... But this probably does what it does about as well as any version could. (Also it makes a very high pitched noise when it's activated and my dog hates it so I can only use it when she's not in the house)
