WONDERFUL! I'll watch it many times!
3 of 3 found this helpful I don't know why I'm so hooked on this show....maybe it's the reality of the gentle day to day humor. There's no violence, but plenty of true human nature...just love it! These two reunion episodes are the same high quality as the series.....no explanation of what happened to Madge though...she just wasn't present....still an incredible 2 hours!

Gritty and realistic!
This little film is excellent! The music, the look, everything is well researched and thought out. It is a realistic treatment of the grim reality that was every day life to the people who actually lived out this story. It's a portion of history that should not be forgotten!

The best so far!!!
Jan Karon never disappoints, but this novel surpasses all others thus far!!! I'm reading the Mitford series in order, and this one is so very good! I recommend reading them ALL!
