Bones- Season One

On one of the weekends that I had house-sat for my best friend, I stumbled upon one of TNT's infamous marathon blocks of their popular shows... I unknowingly passed three hours of my time watching Bones and became annoyed that the marathon wasn't going to continue, until the next scheduled time of course, haha. I got so sucked in, that I immediately ordered the first season on DVD and finished it within the week that it had arrived in the mail. I admit that I am late getting into the show but I absolutely love it! Booth is ever so charming and Bones cracks me up every time she does not understand a pop-culture reference by bluntly stating, "I don't know what that means." For anyone who has enjoyed programs like Law and Order, CSI or the X-Files, but who would like a little less grime and more humor, Bones is a great choice.

Hairspray (2007)

I LOVED IT!!! It's been a while since I had seen the original starring Ricky Lake, but I enjoyed that one as well. I liked the remake a little bit more just because the actors were more familiar to me Amanda Bynes, John Travolta etc. It's so colorful and fun and I honestly think anyone would like it. I think that this film is good for younger audiences to see as well because it can give them a little more insight on how American society used to be like before the Civil Rights Movement.
