Proxxon THERMOCUT Hot Wire Cutter

Cutting edge quality

Check out You Tube and elsewhere and the message is the same - the Proxxon hot wire cutter is the kiddie and best bang for the buck. Get some Shiftinglands accessories for it (like the 2.0 rip fence and the circle cutter and the Proxxon’s capabilities increase ten fold. Take a look at the Shiftinglands reviews on You Tube. All in all, 100% happy to have bought the Proxxon that now sits by my mini drill and power adapter from the same manufacturer - they really do make superb tools. Excellent: buy with total confidence.

Poles apart...

...from the cheap walkers I purchased elsewhere. Having misplaced one and being diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis I was in need of quality replacements. These Leki poles are superb. The speed locking system is rock solid and the strap adjustment system on the supremely comfortable grips a joy. Astounding value for money at roughly half rrp. These aluminium poles are aimed at taller, heavier walkers and only lack rubber tips to cover the titanium spikes.

...copy stand. You can spend a heap more cash on branded alternatives for zero additional benefit. This stand is 100% sturdy and aligned for immediate copying. The box section post means the camera stays ‘square’ to the base board. I used a Sigma SD Quattro H on mine and the stand had no difficulty holding the camera securely and without movement. Totally happy with this perfect value purchase.
