Glad I did not pay a lot for this
1 of 1 found this helpful I have wanted this for years, but did not want to pay big money for it and I'm glad I did not. As 18V tools go this one is fair. It does not have a torque clutch because it is intended as just a drill. Even with a newer fully charged battery it struggles to drill 1/2 inch holes in old wood in my attic. My newer model with a stubby bit does better. Considering what the 18V tools go for now that they are obsolete this was a good addition to my system. If I paid full price I would have used the Dewalt satisfaction guarantee and returned it.

Works with 18V charger
I have had my eye on this for years, but did not want to spend $100 for the kit. I knew it took batteries that were able to be charged with the 18V charger that I already had so I was going to buy a battery and the driver separately new. When I saw the combination of the battery and driver w/o the charger I went for it. Now that this and the 18V system are obsolete they are available at great prices. It works well and I expect extra batteries to be available for a long time.

Great for an LED garage light.
This thing is expensive, but it works well in a garage where I needed it sense movement from the house and outside. It gets very hot in the place I have it and very cold, no issues.
