If they'd cost more I'd've paid it
1 of 1 found this helpful Worth every cent!!! Outperforms headsets way above their price range. The16mm drivers are not wasted here. Bass response is deep but refined, no where near overbearing. No distortion. The soundstage is just flat out superior. Everything is represented magnificently. The space the mids occupy relative to the highs and the bass is altogether complimentary. The stack is damn near flawless. There is no contention. I hear everything. I can listen to someone like say..Bacharach, then maybe some 90's NY boom bap, Hendrix or Morissette with seamless transition. Whoever designed the MDR-XB90EX's seriously needs to stand up and take a bow for how they've managed to integrate audio here and not be charging way more. Music is everything to me. This unassuming little headset is, quite simply a gift to my ears.
