Great projector!
2 of 2 found this helpful So i upgraded from an older viewsonic pld 5354 projector to the awesome hd29darbee. Fan noise is super quiet compared to the viewsonic and image quality is amazing. I believe the darbee feature is the main selling point of this projector. I currently have a 100" screen and with the way i have the projector set up (about 12.5' from the screen) i am getting about 115" image. This was not an issue as you have manual and electronic adjustment of screen size. At 12.5' i was able to shrink it all the way down to 88" at the lowest adjustment but ofcourse i matched the image size to my screen. Im currently running it in ecomode with the brightness turned down and still have a watchable image with 4 overhead lights on (2 are directly over the screen) and a table lamp that is 5 feet from the screen. I won mine on auction for 500 shipped but i would definately pay 700 for it. This is a great upgrade for me and im sure you will find it the same.

Great light, great price
2 of 2 found this helpful I rate this 4.7 stars. The reason for not 5 stars, the activation switch feels a little flimsy but overall not too bad. I compared this head to head with the more expensive surefire x300u-b 600 watt. The streamlight has more flood and the sure fire has a little less flood and a littlw more range. The streamlight is just a little brighter and the color of light output is more white with the stream light. My overall opinion is you cant beat this for a sub $120 light! I bought 1 of the surefires and 3 of these after i compared the 2 head to head if that says anything.

Streamlight Head band!
i purchased the head band seperately as my sidewinder compact 2 did not come with one. The strap is light, comfortable and doesnt slip off, even if you have it on loose. It seems like a well made accesory. Thanks
