5 cell super fast charge light weight great for trim router
Makita’s 5cell 2 am hour super light (3/4 lb) battery lasts long and charges quick 25 minutes.
This battery is great for drills, drill drivers,
It excels when paired with a compact router for laminate edge trim. It makes the router light enough to use as a pen for signs, also does lighter edge work - I have used up to 3/8 profile.
If you need more run time double the weight and go 10 cell 5AH.
If you want more power Makita let’s you use 2 5AH for 36 volt, chainsaw,hedge trimmer ,leaf blower. Oh and if your drill conks with 13 screws left take the battery off the leaf blower and your back in business. Try that with some of the other manufacturers batteries. Yellow will fit but you go from .75 lbs to 2.3 lbs and a much bigger profile - yuck.

Good quality at a reasonable price
Better manufacturing standard than I expected stamped out clean with no flashings. Should be a snap to solder up.

Gets the job done. Great for roof walking to blow the gutters out.
I have a top of the line toro plug in that blows harder, but for quick touch up or climbing on the roof to clean the gutters this 36v Makita ROCKS! The round extension works best in the gutters. I also bought the “flat end nozzle” separately and it does much better on the ground leaves. The unit is well balanced and has a nice lock the trigger on feature. The trigger also allows partial force blowing.
