In your head
I have a small studio in my basement with a lot of 70's sound equipment. Hooking my Yamaha 12 chanel analog mixer and amp and old speaker cabinet's. I had to run a lot of different wiring possibilities to get every thing working the way I wanted. I probably ran a half dozen set ups through my head and even a few trial and error. When I hit the right combination it was great. Work perfect and I am very pleased with it and I can record all the live tracks I want with out worrying about the interface doing it's job. More or less set it and leave it.
