Good for kids
I wasn't expecting scientific grade slides at this price, but did expect more from Amscope (I have 2 of their microscopes and rate them very highly).
Cheap plastic slides in plastic wrap..

Excellent value
2 of 2 found this helpful I now have 2 Amscopes, one a stereoscope and now this compound. Both are very good optically, superb considering the price, and the build quality is very good.
I've been into photography most my life and also have telescopes, so am keenly aware of optical quality. For the money, and perhaps for quite a bit more, this microscope simply can not be beat.

Very good quality
Nicely build, it feels solid and well made. Optically it is very good. I would buy again if the need arose.
