Top scanner for coin sellers !
Although this model is over 14 years old it still proves to the best scanner for coinage. New scanners move the scanner very fast. When this occurs you end with blurry non detailed scans.
The Microtek 5900 and 5950 as very slow in taking scans. Thus capturing every detail precisely.
Yes it's really slow but great. Bought this as a backup, have now altogether 4 stored plus one operational.
The model because of it's age is getting harder to find. If you need sharp accurate detailed scan. Buy this scanner !
