Superior to newer models
7 of 7 found this helpful I tried to give a lot of detail. The site would not allow it. Great Machine. The negatives are 1) It does so much it takes a lot to learn it all, and 2) getting it serviced can require travel time. Programmable alphabet, directional sewing, 1/2 inch basting stitch, great tension control, can sew through fine silk or suede layers with interfacing
