Microsoft Band 2 Activity Tracker Large MU5-00003

Good idea and not so good quality

Before I had Microsoft Band now I have Band 2 because belt on Band broke apart. However on Band I could choose tile Run, press Action button and run before GPS connected to satellite. Picture 1 shows GPS record in this case. On Band 2 I got the same window advised me to start running before GPR connected. GPS was turned On and GPS Power saver was Off. Picture 2 shows GPS record in this case. Believe me I have no ability going over water. The problem is GPS worked in Save power mode which was Off. In this mode GPS sends 1-2 signals per minute and if you choose not strait road your rout will go over water, over trees, over buildings whatever. I found what to do. I ignore advise to start running and wait until I see GPS Locked information. It takes about minute but result is OK.

Good because better is not around

I have Microsoft Band 2 and I sure have to compare them. As a device made to give you that much information about your exercises Galaxy stays far behind Microsoft Band 2. Galaxy interface is more colorful then the Band 2 but is not so friendly and intuitive. Unfortunately Microsoft closed this program and now Galaxy Fit2 is the best choice.
