stopped working immediately

This product did not pick up my heart rate at the beginning. After replacing the batteries, it worked for about 1 month, and stopped again. This product is also very expensive to maintain. If it needs repairs, there are only about 6 places in the nation that are contracted to work on it, and they always begin pricing at $75. This is almost as much as purchasing one brand new. There are other heart rate monitors that are much easier to maintain.
