Peak Doctor Who, Peak Tom Baker
Season 14 sees Tom Baker at his peak period during his tenure in Doctor Who - his energy is channeled and focused and he effortlessly commands the screen. Couple that with two fantastic companions - Sarah Jane Smith who is then succeeded by Leela & the production dream-team of producer Phillip Hinchcliffe and Script Editor Bob Holmes and it doesn't get much better. The boxset is fantastic - all the extras from the DVD releases plus new Blu-Ray exclusive features such as the touching and revealing documentary on the wonderful Elisabeth Sladen - that alone is worth the purchase price.
