Two short haired dogs - I'm impressed :-)
Yes , I find the Dyson V8 Animal Extra cordless VERY good, I have two short haired dogs so I feel qualified to say this machine does a great job. I find I can use the full power in a few well walked places & general all over (3 Bedroom bungalow) within the battery charge.
I do however need to wear a glove (I have a leather one, I don't mean latex or rubber) due to my knobbley thumb/hand joint the first use gave me a blister - hence a little padded protection. Still would recommend.
