Excelent quality, awfully expensive!
Absolutely perfect craftsmanship but terrible value for your money.
The lens itself offers so much value for your money that you will feel that the lens hood is a rip off. It should be included in the package with a 30€ increase in overall price.
Nevertheless the fit and finish is superb.

Excellent value
1 of 1 found this helpful Amazing value for your money! Just be aware that this an old lens design with dated coatings. This means that you need to increase the contrast settings 25-50%. Also take notice that without VR you need higher shutter speeds (320 is my recommended minimum). Again, amazing value for money. Using it a D750.

Almost excelent, flare takes the fifth star

Good sharpness and beautifull color rendition.
Almost perfect if it weren't for the desastrous work against light sources (sun, public ilummination, light bulbs). It really damages the results. Even at night you must be very carefull with any light sources.
If you take the flare issues into consideration very recommended for the results and it's portability.
