Hoya UV Filter, great value for money.

This is a good filter, it is not the cheapest and it is not the absolute best but it got good results in the only proper thorough test that I have seen, done at lens rentals by Roger Cicala. It is good value for money.

Hot shoe to tripod adaptor.

It is actually a cold shoe as it has no electrical contacts but hey we all knew that right! Biggest issue is they are tight, very tight, on everything I wanted to use them on (canon flash, YongNuo flash and a wireless flash receiver) so tight I thought it might damage the items with repeated use. I used a flat needle file to ease the bottom of the two ears that go over the flash foot so I’m ok with them now but it would be nice if stuff like this was made right as it is no harder to make the injection mould right than to make it wrong! My guess is they will all be like this at this price point?
