Battery case does the trick.
I bought this battery pack simply because it is much, much cheaper than purchasing a rechargeable battery. The radio was quite old and I was not even sure that it worked. I plugged in a couple of AA batteries, installed the battery case and walla! I have an old handheld multi-band radio that still works. Without this case, I would have just tossed the old radio in the trash. Thank you for offering parts for old radios.

Mary Kay Place ce
This is a great old-style country & western album. Mary Kay Place recorded this when she was playing a struggling country music singer on the late night sit-com “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.” That dates it back to the late 1970s. Give a listen and enjoy. My favourite song is “Paintin’ Her Fingernails.”
