Works flawlessly out of the box !
It is a perfect replacement for my original remote. No programming required !! Just remove the battery tape and it's ready to go.

Works Great with one short coming.
1 of 1 found this helpful It is easy to assemble, easy to install and works flawlessly in my garden to keep out the neighbors cats. The one and only thing I feel it needs in an on-off switch to turn off the power supply. When I work in my flower bed, I have to remove the battery pack and take out one of the 4 batteries. Even if you turn off the water, the sensor will still continue to trip when it sees movement when you leave the batteries in it. It is a little bit of a pain, but worth enduring.

Atari Flashback 2 is superior to all prior Atari models
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for my 93 year old Father-in-law who plays Video Checkers. When he moved into my home, he brought his Atari 2600 and only cartridge with him.
He plays every day and over the last 5 years, we have gone through several other 2600's and two 2600 Jr's. I've lost count of the number of joysticks. It is far superior to any previous model and so far has operated flawlessly. The only drawback is getting to the only game he wants. If it wasn't for the manual, which could still use improvement, one might think that the unit was defective when you first plug it in. Any kid would quickly learn how to navigate through the menu which my father-in-law has difficulty doing. But I can not imagine any kid putting down his or her Playstation or XBox to play on an Atari. I rated it Excellent compared to prior models, but by todays standards, it dosen't stand a chance. Inexpensive nostalgia......Not for me!
