Excellent all round quality

Difficult to assemble
When the desk arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the weight, and my initial thoughts were it must be good quality, the desk top and sides were nice and thick but the rest of the table, drawers,back panels etc were not so good. The main bugbear for me however was the assembly instructions,which were terrible, I have assembled a number of flat pack items before so I wasn't put off however I can see why some reviewers gave up, I eventually completed it in just over 4 hours (which is twice as long as quoted on the assembly manual. Once assembled the desk was very solid and looked the part, although the drawers didn't fit quite flush you can't really notice, I would recommend potential buyers to shop around as I did see the same desk a lot cheaper than the price I paid and probably more in line with the true value.
