Delightful book.
A rather wonderful autobiographical account of being in Greece in World War 2 and then marrying a Greek woman and living part of the time in Corfu. A charming, urbane, witty and wise book. Short, with only one picture.
My ebay copy is a hardcover with dustjacket in excellent condition.
MacVicar died recently, and I learnt about his writings from an obituary. I look forward to finding more.

Good sound & user-friendly
5 of 5 found this helpful Sound is quite full with OK bass; too much bass for speech if the bass boost is on. Very compact and easy to use. Excellent for Zoom & Skype, as well as for all the stuff available on e.g. my laptop. Good Bluetooth range; you can take it round the house with you. Top button pauses whatever you're listening to.
