Emma Lazarus
Emma Lazarus was the most amazingly talented poet and writer, intellectual, thoughtful, and truly inspirational.
On her final visit to Europe shortly before she died, she saw the beginnings of the Jewish persecution 50-years before the Nazi-Party came into being, but sadly died before she could raise enough awareness to make a difference. She was only 38.
The world lost a beautiful soul far too early who I'm sure had a lot more poetry inside her which we will sadly never know....

Nice quality scarf, wife loves it.
Scarf printed in the style of Piet Mondrian, although Mondrian used to have a couple of black squares randomly scattered around. But very nice all the same.

Five Bridges - the most fantastic musical experience ever!!
Pure genius! What can I tell you? Experimental 1960s music, complete with Keith Emersons showmanship keyboard-playing, abstract sounds, and Lee Jacksons idiosyncratic lyrics blend perfectly with the classical talent of Bach, Sibelius, and Tchaikovsky under the baton of Joseph Eger.
In many ways this is typical of the 60s sound, but in other ways, it was, and still is way ahead of its time.
Pure enjoyment from start to finish, but never dull or boring. The musical equivalent of a blaze in a fire-works factory!
