Good sound card for 1998-2000s.
Works perfectly. Good card for the time. 1998 - early 2000s.
Great if you are building a classic Windows XP gaming PC.
It has softwareuilt in functionality to use custom soundfonts for general midi. It also has SB16 emulation.
The model i bought "CT4780" is an OEM card, so finding drivers for it was a nightmare.
Some later OEM cards do not have drivers for Windows 98, or is missing a wavetable connector on the card itself.
Point is:
Do your research on the card model and driver availability before buying.
