1 of 1 found this helpful This model is no longer produced by Canon and it gives the suggestion that it is outdated. Not the case. While it might not have all the bells and whistles; it provides all the basic and custom features which a semi pro needs. Yes it is 8 megapixels but fi have found it more than adequate for 8x11 prints. Professional developers have repeatedly assured me that I could get photos developed at even larger sizes with great resolution. So how much do you need. Is the question you need to answer for yourself. I for me ; 20 megapexils is overlkill
