The Life and Works of Alfred Bestall: Illustrator of Rupert Bear Caroline Bott

Seems like this book's a winner!

I bought this as a gift for my partner who's a Rupert bear fan. His favourite Rupert era are the illustrations by Alfred Bestall. He's reading the book now and he's updating me on what he's read. It's not a biography I'd choose for myself, but what he's telling me about the artist is really interesting and it sounds like the author brings Bestall's personality alive through her words. There's a really nice selection of the artist's work from different periods of his life. He's really enjoying the book and put his other reading aside to read this one. The five stars are for the my impression of the book's appearance (the cover, the illustrations), but also for the enthusiasm my partner's showing while reading this book. He's honest with his opinions, so I can definitely say that he'd recommend this.

I'm a matcha addict so I've tried it from many different companies. Sometimes I can tell a subtle difference in taste, but theGreenMatcha is one of the few where the taste is noticeably fuller to me. The powder is finely milled and mixed into a nice smooth paste easily. The tea tastes fresh and light and, like other matcha teas, gives you that caffeine boost of energy without the "jittery" feeling (or the stomach ache) that comes with drinking too much coffee. I've tried theGreenMatcha on ice with a slice of lime and it's really refreshing. Also had it brewed and enjoyed it without adding anything because the taste's so pleasant. There's a nice aftertaste, too. I'd recommend this product to anyone. It really is a great tea.
