UNADVERTISED GREAT FEATURE: WIRE OPTION
Buried in the user's guide is a great feature: The 'Wire Option' can be used as an 'invisible fence'!!
You can use it with a boundary wire to create an 'invisible fence'! The manual says the wire
can be up to 150' long. However, I've successfully used it with 300' of wire to keep my cat out of a chicken pen!
It's nice because the same collar can keep my cat away from 'barriers' inside the house, as well as with the outdoor barrier's perimeter wire.
The manual's instructions are pretty easy to follow.
Of course you can use as like you would use one of the white 'hockey puck' style barrers as well.
