Engineered for waste

It does not work: It may have been charged when I bought it, I kept it charging for 1.5 hours and found that the led did the opposite of what I had originally thought. Maybe that damaged it. The instructions turn stupid just where critical. Connecting the device with the handset is detailed badly, in two different places in the instructions. This is not 'because it has been written by Chinese', that is the excuse of a deliberately badly made and documented device. Waste of money

Wish I'd looked further

Decent battery life, all round plenty of uses. But the SD and USB card modes don't remember where last stopped, pressing the buttons on top, feels flimsy, when charging/using it has sometimes switched itself off and once I couldn't get it to switch on again. Volume is loud enough when needed.
