Poor mounting bracket design/ instructions

Weak plate mounting bracket slot/holes. Hard to judge tightness because no back-up provided. Too tight just flexes the bracket and, later, bracket hole depression area breaks off while further installing alarm to plate. Proper screws should be provided having flat-bottomed heads that fit into the bracket slot end depressions. Instructions should updated to warn of this condition.
