Excellent 1080i TV for used with Freeview or Sky box - great value TV
Bought this as a replacement for our aging philips CRT 28* TV.
Been wanting to move to an LCD screen but did NOT want one with the shiny black surround that most seem to come with these days. Spotted this on ebay for a potentially great price so bid and won for £155 (not bad for a TV that was about £1500 new... although it is about 6 years old now).
Has 3 scarts, and a DVI input. The biggest negative is that owing to it's age, the built-in digital TV reciever no longer works after DSO but since I am using it with a freeview PVR and DVR then that isn't a problem for me. Also the digital video in, being DVI doen not include digital audio like HDMI so an adaptor lead is required to connect to any HDMI devices and a seperate analog audio connection via phono is required for sound (there is an input for this).
Sound is not the greatest I've heard on a TV (although fine for everyday viewing), but for more critical viewing (films etc.) I use a surround sound system.
Picture quality is very good up to 1080i, but with the Philips PixelPlus system lower definition material is rendered very well (nature programs look amazing).
Overall, very pleased with product; well engineered if a little dated compared to some of the newer LED backlit TV's around now but you'll be very hard pushed to get a picture of this quality for as little as this cost.

good selection of flat and crosshead drivers for those tiny screws on laptops etc.
Just the job for working on laptops. I needed to replace the fan on mine and some 30 odd screws later job was done. These screwdrivers made it easier for me to achieve, especially being magnetised so the tiny screws hold themselves on the end of the screwdriver.

Flexible and just enough tack to hold but still easy to work.
Just the job. Needed some of this to re-seal the vapour barrier on the rear doors on my wife's Honda Jazz in order to fix the leak they had developed. I think the factory fitted sealant had dried out in a couple of places allowing the water to seep through. Removed the older suspect sealant (messy job!) and replaced with this stuff. Seems to hve done the job - no more wet carpets in the back!
