D750 preferred over D500!

Moving up from the Nikon D5300 I had originally wanted a D500 so I could still use my DX lenses but the D750 caught my eye. I'm now working professionally part-time and realize I need a full frame. This camera takes beautiful shots and I'm loving all the bells & whistles it offers. Really helps to learn what it can do and I'm grateful to have Rob Sylvan's book included. Still light in weight and was surprised to find my 70-300 zoom is a full frame lens so I've actually got a few lenses that work well with it already (but eventually will get the 24-70 f2.8). Thanks for the pristine condition and fast response to my questions. You're the best!

Wonderful Upgrade from my D3100!

I needed a version that could use my current lenses so I bought the D5300 and am loving it so far! As a more advanced hobbyist I usually shoot manual mode and appreciate more pixels, focus points and the swivel monitor (although there's a learning curve). This is a great camera for shooting fast motion in poor lighting (I'm a gymnastics coach), and the auto white balance works well for the most part. A bit disappointed in the quality of the special effects but it's not a deal breaker as I edit in photoshop where I can tweak whatever I want. Overall I'm a kid in a candy store with this. Getting amazing gym shots!

NEW Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S NIKKOR Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

Great lens - great price!

Just added this sweet, fast prime to my 35mm & 85mm collection. I shoot a lot of gymnastics (so we're talking mostly fast motion in poor light) and I can't afford a 70-200mm 2.0 yet so I'm now armed & ready with these 1.8 beauties! This 50mm gives wonderful bokeh as well.
