high class but lo fi
Delightful music but poorly processed. An unusually interesting programme, the originals though 1950s are in much worse sound than electic recordings from the later 1920s, more 1924 than 1942 or 1964

A brlliant posthumously published work composed in a notebook by this wise and indeed great man, with a wonderful account of fake or pseudo-professions, equating "broadcaster" with "witch-pricker" and written by a man who claimed he had played chamber music daily, apart from the time when pretty well still a boy he had been locked up by Nazis following the Anschluss which engulfed his native Austria in the Hitlerreich in 1938. A musical background will assist the reader to grasp even more, but is not really essential. One of the heroes was HK!!!
