Castelli Toe Thingy v2
Seems an improvement on the V1 I had a couple of years ago. Extends further down the shoe. Still potentially gets trapped in Look cleats so best to pull the elastic before clipping in.

Nice wheel set!
Very impressed overall.
Initially was concerned at ordering direct but ICAN kept me informed on progress and shipping was prompt (slight delay at UK end as I had to pay customs duty before delivery).
Wheels were well finished and appear strong and rigid (though I'm a 'light' rider at 55kg).
Have ridden 300km on the wheels so far. Took a little getting used to - ride is more 'jiggly' than I expected, especially on poor tarmac but very nice on smooth tarmac (not much of this in the UK!).
Wheels are lightweight (c. 800g lighter than my old alloy wheels, hubs and skewers) - meaning good on hills and easier to accelerate to catch up riders ahead.
Initially seemed sensitive to sudden crosswind gusts but I'm getting better at anticipating these. Mine are 38mm depth - I think 50mm would be more challenging for me, but I'm lighter than most!
A friend warned me to expect poor braking performance. I've so far found braking to be adequate, if a little 'grabby' at the front - I will realign the brake blocks to see if I can improve this. Obviously with carbon wheels it will be important to inspect brake wear regularly, especially in winter.
I would recommend these wheels to others considering 'taking the plunge' and upgrading to carbon.
