Zen V MP3 Player
I bought a RECONDITIONED Zen V for my wife. I already had one and liked it a lot. It is one of the few brands that is compatible with our library system so that I can download books and listen to them on the Zen. I tried four other brands before I decided on this unit. I even tried this same brand, but a unit without a screen, and had a difficult time finding where I was when I was reading a book. With this player, I can see books and the many files that make up the book. I can then select what I want to listen to at this time. The player also allows me to set bookmarks so that I can go back to the exact place I left off even if I do other activities before going back to the same book. The 2GB capacity allows for many books to be loaded on the unit - I currently have five books, and have hardly used any space. My wife uses it when she goes on walks and is learning a language. She also appreciates the bookmark feature so that she can mark and then go back and review items. I believe because the item was RECONDITIONED the case was not quite assembled back together correctly. After a few days use, a little plastic part of the controller broke and fell out of the case. The unit is operable - the controller is just a little harder to work. I would not recommend a RECONDITIONED unit - buy a new one with the manufacturer's warranty - just in case. Overall, this is a beautiful unit for our purposes.
