Very disappointed

I have to charge this toothbrush every week where the manual states when it's fully charged you get three weeks cleaning. This is not the case with my toothbrush. A recent visit to the dentist revealed that my teeth weren't as clean as my previous visit which was less than two months ago due to root canal work. The box states removes 7 times more plaque where as the manual state 5 times!! Not sure if that's a trading standard issue? These sonic toothbrushes came highly recommended to me by a friend. Maybe I should've gone for the basic model rather than this new design. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend.
