Every American should read

IF we are citizens of the most rich and powerful country that has ever existed- and what american could ever deny that, then we need to accept that we are citizens of an Empire. Robert Jensen explains just what that means with some very easy statements like "empires are never benevolent". He compares the wrong-doings of empires like Germany and how they manipulate populations to accept aggressive behaviors (Yes they do!) and how to stay smarter and more critical. In answer to the accusation of 'why so critical of US all the time?' the answer is, more pointedly, if there is culpability of bad behavior, when our country is TOO aggressive, TOO greedy, TOO violent, why can't U.S. apologists even see it? Blind patriotism? It's all in the subtitle: The Struggle to Claim Our Humanity".

Good, with a question or two

The Fake Face masks are comfortable. They come with a filter insert. Because there are no use instructions, the material used in the filter is unknown, and it's not clear how best to insert it. Some kind of attachment pocket in the construction would be a great addition. Overall, the masks are attractive, feel good, and are more effective than the typical pre-formed masks found in hardware stores.
